Makeup Brush Care Tips

How to clean your makeup brushes:
1. Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water, making sure the shaft and metal don't get wet. Keep bristles pointed at downward angle to avoid water running upwards toward the shaft.
2. Swirl bristles onto DUcare cleaning soap until nicely lathered. Or, use DUcare liquid cleaner or baby shampoo, putting a small amount into your hands, lathering in the same fashion until sudsy.
3. Rinse the soap out of the bristles with lukewarm water.
4. Gently squeeze out any excess water and reshape your brush head to its previous shape.
5. Let the brush sit overnight on a dry towel. Repeat process every few weeks.

Note: If you find that bristles are thick and firm with makeup residue, try swirling them in a small amount of olive or almond oil, working the oils into the brush fibers. Rinse, and then begin the cleaning process.

Great addition and such a helpful brush

My first time using one of DUcare make up brushes. My immediate impression, just by looks and feel was positive. After actually using the Dual Ended Brush I am seriously impressed.

The brush arrived well protected and virtually tamper proof. While the brush head is made up of synthetic fibers, I honestly would not have guessed differently had I not known. The fibers are soft and do not absorb my product. The bristles are dense making the application flawless, without issues or worry of loose bristles sticking to the skin.
The brush washed well using my regular brush cleanser, no bristle loss and dried nicely overnight.

Having a kabuki style brush with the spoon end makes this a great addition to applying the product of choice without worry of getting excess on fingertips or under nails.
