Makeup Brush Care Tips

How to clean your makeup brushes:
1. Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water, making sure the shaft and metal don't get wet. Keep bristles pointed at downward angle to avoid water running upwards toward the shaft.
2. Swirl bristles onto DUcare cleaning soap until nicely lathered. Or, use DUcare liquid cleaner or baby shampoo, putting a small amount into your hands, lathering in the same fashion until sudsy.
3. Rinse the soap out of the bristles with lukewarm water.
4. Gently squeeze out any excess water and reshape your brush head to its previous shape.
5. Let the brush sit overnight on a dry towel. Repeat process every few weeks. 

Note: If you find that bristles are thick and firm with makeup residue, try swirling them in a small amount of olive or almond oil, working the oils into the brush fibers. Rinse, and then begin the cleaning process.

With a background in hair/beauty I jumped at the opportunity to try these out having only used salon quality brand brushes before it was particularly exciting and they did not disappoint! Pros:- great quality- do not shed hairs in use- synthetic hairs which are vegan friendly-soft hairs which do not fault application- low risk of sensitivity/allergy with synthetic hairs- wooden ergonomic handles which are lovely and comfortable to hold/smooth and branded- improve ease of application- beginners guide to use of each brush enclosed!- sponges are soft and non-rubbery, easy application.

I absolutely love these brushes. This brand is such a good affordable brand. The brushes blend the shadow so well. The other contour and highlight brushes are amazing! All my brush sets I own are mainly from DUCARE. The sponges are well made and leave your foundation flawless! Just make sure they are damp.

This is a nice makeup brush set each brush individually covered has some makeup sponges in and comes with a bag to keep them all in. The makeup bag has a zip fastening. The box it all arrives in makes it very giftable also could be a nice stocking filler come christmas. The brushes themselves feel very well made no loose tops the brush heads are nice and soft again the skin and while using them I have had no loss of bristles either. Compfortable handles to hold all round a decent set of brushes.

This is a nice makeup brush set. I love the soft bristles and the contour in the handle is perfect! I wasn’t sure I’d like the green color but I actually think it looks eco-classy. These brushes are superb quality. Soft wooden handles that are comfortable to grab. Bristles are soft, easy to clean and do not stain or shred. The set includes many options for eye shadow brushes as well as foundation/concealer/blush brushes. Presentation is really nice, the box they come in is great, ready to gift. Plus it includes a nice looking beige pouch with a zipper that runs smoothly. 3 makeup sponges with different shapes that are great to blend foundation, either wet or dry work great. Totally loving these makeup brushes!
